CYBERBULLYING: KEEPING YOUR STUDENTS SAFE

Bill Bond is the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) Specialist for School Safety. Before the NASSP, he was principal of a high school in Paducah, KY, the site of a tragic shooting in 1997. This and other shootings across the nation precipitated Bond’s involvement in safe school awareness. In his role as school safety specialist, Bond is a resource for principals’ organizations across the nation. Cyberbullying is a prevalent threat to our schools. The law says you should be doing something about it. What are you doing, is it enough, and more importantly, what policies do you need? This session will show what cyberbullying looks like, how you can prevent it from interfering with the educational process, and what to do when it does.

For those unable to participate, the presentation will be archived on this web page at VALIC.com/webcasts.
